Leaving San Francisco and the bridges
This you only see in America!
We did not stop often in Nevada - but our first impression was not very positive. Casinos stuffed with cigarette smoke.
Silver Lake in the the Brighton area above Salt Lake City
Anjanette, Drew and their girls at the start of our hike
Dora by the Silver Lake
Dora and Helga, Benedikt´s sister, walking
Helga and Lilja enjoying the fresh hike
Icelandic girl-power in Utah
Benedikt and Drew
The girls brought blankets as it was pretty chilly
Beautiful!
Uphill - determined to go all the way up to the dam
Benedikt in good company
It got colder the higher we came and we even had snow
We made it to the top - sitting on a dam in pretty cold wind
Lilja so happy with her accomplishment
There was also a small lake by the dam
This looks like a very interesting skiing area - we need to come back in winter time
At the top
So happy despite the cold
Posing with stuffed animals
In front of Sandie´s house in Sandy, Salt Lake
It was VERY evident that Halloween was around the corner
In Sandie´s little garden sanctuary. Sandie as stunning as ever.
Amazing view from the garden
Her garden was showing its best colours - literally!
Some of the statues had taken on some mystic shape
Trina (Sandie´s daughter) has a passion for interior design - and what she has made for her children is just breathtaking
This is a whole house/adventure world
And they also know how to decorate for Halloween
We started out with an outdoor dinner in the "Sheranien´s" beautiful garden
We realised that it was not a coincidence that the carving took place outside - could get pretty messy
Not so sure how to start :-)
Gudrun had a helper
Work in progress
Dora knew what she was doing
Not bad for the first pumpkin face ever
It looks like Craig Tillotson is about to kill the pumpkin
Impressive "work of art"
What a lovely night - we were so thankful to Sandie to include us in this family tradition
Looking out at the former intersection in front of the new Nu Skin Innovation Center in Provo - Nu Skin bought the street to build on it :-)
This text is carved in a stone at the main entrance. We also have a replica that we brought home to Iceland that our friends Carl and Lena gave to us.
The ribbon cutting beginning
And here they have cut through - here is most of the management team
With our friends Carl and Lena
Dora in front of "product mirrors" at the new Innovation Center in Provo
Wow... our names are on display in the main hall, in the Innovation Center, with the other people in the $5 million circle
Sightseeing before the ribbon cutting
Creating history - no doubt!
All the chairs set up for the ribbon cutting ceremony
Lena, Liv, Chris and Calle - all very impressed
The digital screen on the wall in the main hall is the biggest of its kind in all of America - and it sure was impressive!
We could see into some of the labs where the scientists are innovating like never before
We met Sandie also at the headquarters - here we have also been joined by Susana the CEO of OTG West Europe
Dora with her dad attending her first ever Force For Good gala - very impressive entrance
Some of the regional managers where greeting people as they entered
Beautiful setting - hundreds of these tables at the Force For Good gala
Dora looking good in her gala dress
With Max and Hanna - behind you can see translation channels for those not speaking English. This was a very international event - like any Nu Skin event
And naturally we met our good friend Paul Cox. We always love meeting him as we have a very special bond with him and his family.
Dora and Sophia (Sandie´s daughter) looking stunning at the Force For Good gala
With my girl :-)
And naturally so many of our good friends were there, here are Lena, Carl, Natalie and Kenton
The Convention slogan this time was "creating history" - so fitting!
At convention Truman Hunt revieled that we are now entering a brand new era with Nu Skin - going for hyper growth - 3 to 10 billion in revenue in the next 6 years!
And Truman is no ordinary CEO - his entrance to the stage was spectacular!
On the floor, beside the stage. It sure is worth getting up in pin title to get further down in that hall
It is wonderful to see many team members being recognised for their great efforts - here are Grace from Spain and Sofia & John from Sweden
Catherine and Frank from Germany/France getting their Diamond recognition
And here is the wonderful couple that met through Nu Skin - both Diamond executives - Guy in the UK and Orianne in France
Backstage with the most dynamic French (Turkish) trio, Mehmet, Senin and Valerie. They were both new Blue Diamonds and new $1 million circle members!
Happy Chief Ambassadors for Nourish the Children
Lena and Carl on stage as Chief Ambassadors as well
And here we are backstage just before going on stage for our $5 million recognition
Kenton and Natalie walked the stage with us
And Sandie came to say hello before the big night
And this is the view from the stage - pretty impressive to walk out with 15.000 people cheering you on
Dora got this photo of us on stage
It took some time to walk the stage and hundreds of cameras were in the air
That was a real kick and naturally we were very happy
Our very good friend Tobbe also being recognised as a $5 million circle member
And when the entertainment started we were all "flabbergasted" - Tobbe with Seal in the background
Wow did he perform!
Seal was all over the place
Looking cool
Seal´s performance had us all in awe!
A special moment - Seal singing to Sandie. It was like they were alone in the "room"
We got a very nice surprise when we came up from the floor after the main recognition. A large group of the French team had gathered and waited to greed us - they were so incredibly genuine and nice!
A part of the Swedish team after the OTG event on Saturday
Dora at the Nu Skin shop in Provo
Anneli, Liv and Lena loving to shop in the new Innovation Center
We were getting short on some necessities and LifePak so we really appreciated the opportunity to buy our favourite products
It looked a little different and calmer after the Convention - but we took a good time to enjoy and explore
The Spoon - the corporate canteen where you can buy stuff like "Truly Truman" and "Sandie´s spicy scrimp salad"
A small but very nice auditorium - here the plan is to have music performance for employees on regular basis at lunch
And there is no shortage of meeting spaces
In the "old" tower the upper management still has their offices. This photo taken by Marcus Westberg is hanging outside the office of Sandie
We met with Steve Lund in his office. Here are Steve, Liv, Chris and Calle
Steve is a very unusual Chairman - when we asked for a photo with Dora, he insisted on posing as her assistant
She sure had fun with this and he took his role very seriously as you can see :-)
