One could spend all day at The Grove just looking at people in all sizes and colours :-)
One of the first things we did in LA was to have lunch at The Grove
The fountain adds to the very nice atmosphere
Dora with an angel
And here we are!
Fun fun fun
Dora in pretty good company
Ohh.. nostalgic... Back to the Future!
It was obviously halloween coming up - some of these guys were to real for our taste
Dora and Dora he he..
Dora with Curious George -this one was specially for her nephew Styrmir
A nice day to have fun
A lot of colourful characters everywhere
Going for lunch in the VIP room
On the set of Parenthood
The whole house is made very real
The kitchen where a lot of the scenes are taken apparently (we might need to start seeing this TV series)
They have gone pretty far in making it look real - the "measurements" of the children growing up!
Here you can see the loft that is never seen on TV
And a staircase that leads to nowhere :-)
The loft is full of lights and equipment
Some interesting outside sets - can be seen in many movies - might be in different colours though
Dora looking alone in "a city"
These stairs have been featured in many movies - very clever how they can change the look with only replacing the outer layer
This is the exact place where Michael J Fox went back to the future - the Clock Tower
It looked a little different then
Fun to see these empty streets and ideas
They were decorating the streets for a Christmas episode of one of the TV series
Could be Mexico or somewhere in S- America
An animated flood
It looked very real
The prop department is 5 stories high - on the bottom floor are all the big items
And we saw a lot of old friends
Gudrun could not resist the temptation of hugging ET
ET come home!
And Marilyn said hello
Dora playing with the prop
This square has been in Italy, Mexico, US and more places - just with a little
We drove through Wisteria Lane from Desperate Housewives
Many of the houses now have a new colour as they have been used on other projects
This street was just "too real" with a playground in the middle...
Nice houses though
We also passed through some disaster zones
Heading for lunch at London hotel
With Ian and Erin Ziering
Erin and Dora - two beautiful girls
And we had just stepped outside our "cocoon" when these women jumped to talk to Ian
Ian looked pretty used to this and let them have their photo session
Meanwhile we just waited - Erin must be used to this by now :-)
Great time with good friends
Walk of fame!
We took loads of photos of the stars but mostly we just enjoyed strolling the streets
There were only two stars Dora agreed on having a photo with - this one was for her mom
But that one she picked!
Ohh... what a breakfast - Ian and Mia took some time before heading to Las Vegas
Adorable Mia Ziering
Apple advertisements add colour to the city
We did not get close to the Hollywood sign this time around
Lively streets of down town LA
In Beverly Hills - LA, we will be back
