Toronto Canada and Niagara Falls

The driving started on Wednesday afternoon and we arrived at our hotel near Syracuse, in upstate New York, very late.  On Thursday we had arrived in Toronto and settled into our hotel.  Conveniently, it was equipped with a swimming pool and hot tub so the younger generation was thrilled.  We had a fantastic dinner at the Keg, surely a steakhouse we can recommend.

We had a great tour around Toronto on Friday and visited the famous CN Tower or Canada National Tower.  This used to be the highest tower in the world for 32 years, over 553m, until Dubai beat them with a much taller one.  It still felt very high though, specially when we stood on the glass-floor and just look down-down-down and only a glass was holding us up there.

We also went on the Toronto hop-on hop-off bus and learned a lot about the city and found many reasons why we will visit again.   On our way back we stopped at the Niagara Falls and enjoyed the unique views of this majestic creation.  Certainly worth the visit and we are so happy to tick it off the list - the list of locations that we plan to visit in the coming year.

It was a pretty tired bunch that came back to Barrington very late on Sunday night.
